  • Nearly a year after we launched our very first Destination Unknown flight, today marked the arrival of our second surprise journey, this time touching down in the vibrant heart of southern Spain: Seville. The passengers had no idea where they were headed when they boarded the flight in Copenhagen, and the reveal came as we landed in beautiful Seville. Over the weekend, the guests will take part in a curated program filled with unique experiences, all designed to reflect the spirit of the city. Follow along on our Instagram page as the adventure unfolds. We’ll be sharing highlights from the trip all the way until we land back in Copenhagen on Monday.

  • Today, we proudly marked the return of our direct route to the sun-soaked shores of Malta - reconnecting travelers with one of the Mediterranean’s most charming destinations. A big thank you to Visit Malta for being part of this special occasion and making our inaugural flight even more memorable by surprising all passengers with a small gift on board. We’re excited to keep expanding seamless travel opportunities and look forward to welcoming you on board our twice-weekly flights from Copenhagen to Malta.

  • Today, we launched new flights from Copenhagen to Billund, Kristiansand, Milan Linate, and Wroclaw - plus a new long-haul connection from Oslo to New York JFK. This expansion reinforces Copenhagen as our primary hub, enhancing connectivity across Europe and beyond. The new Oslo - New York JFK route also boosts transatlantic access, with seamless onward connections via our SkyTeam partners. These are just the beginning - over 20 new routes are added to our network over the comings weeks and months. Stay tuned.

  • Earlier today, our CCO, Paul Verhagen, took part in key discussions on regional connectivity and marked the Øresund Bridge’s 25th anniversary at the Greater Copenhagen Summit. Paul highlighted how connectivity is a key driver of growth and how the bridge has reshaped opportunities across borders. He underlined the importance of strong, strategic partnerships to secure Greater Copenhagen's future as a competitive, sustainable region - and emphasized that strengthening Copenhagen Airport as a global hub requires collaboration across stakeholders. At SAS, we see firsthand how connectivity fuels economic growth, strengthens political collaboration, and supports the transformation toward a more sustainable aviation industry.
