Last Wednesday, Karlstad Congress Culture Centre was buzzing with energy, innovation, and future potential as 265 Junior Achievement (Ung Företagsamhet) companies gathered to showcase their ideas, sell their products, and compete for a spot in the Swedish Championships in Young Entrepreneurship. UF stands for Ung Företagsamhet (Junior Achievement), an organization that has been teaching entrepreneurship and business management in Sweden for 40 years. Last month, our co-founder and CEO, Lars Wingefors, had the pleasure of welcoming Kenji Matsubara-san, CEO of SNK, to Karlstad. Of course, no visit would be complete without a stop at the Embracer Games Archive! Amid a packed schedule, they made time to enjoy a true classic—playing Metal Slug on SNK’s legendary Neo Geo console. A perfect way to celebrate gaming history!
Last month I was happy to welcome Kenji Matsubara-san, CEO of SNK, to Karlstad. As a long-standing business partner to PLAION, we value the relationship with the Japanese powerhouse 株式会社SNK（SNK CORPORATION）, an iconic developer and publisher best known for its arcade and console games. No trip to Karlstad is complete without a visit to the Embracer Games Archive. Among the 72,000 objects in the archive, are King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Metal Slug and other SNK classics. We took some time of the busy schedule to play Metal Slug on SNK:s iconic Neo Geo console.

Thank you, Martin, for joining our Q3 presentation. What an achievement for Warhorse Studios! 👏 Kingdom Come: Deliverance II sold over 1 million copies in the first 24 hours, and is fast approaching 2 million, with an especially strong performance on Steam with over 250,000 peak concurrent players.
Today, as we publish our Q3 report, we also take a moment to highlight an important part of our journey - Warhorse Studios and the incredible team behind it, led by CEO Martin Fryvaldsky. Since joining Embracer Group in 2019, Warhorse has continued to build on its strong legacy, pushing creative and technical boundaries to bring immersive storytelling to players around the world. I still vividly remember presenting at the investor call the day after the acquisition, with Martin and the team already deep into developing Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. From the very beginning, it was clear that Warhorse had the vision, talent, and dedication to create something truly extraordinary. What the team has achieved is remarkable - a game that not only stands as a technical and artistic achievement but also as a testament to their passion for storytelling and historical authenticity. Their ability to craft deeply engaging experiences is what makes Warhorse such a unique and valued part of the Embracer family. Martin, to you and the entire Warhorse team - thank you for your dedication, creativity, and fantastic collaboration.
