GC logs - more than just debugging data! Experiencing latency spikes? Unexpected JVM restarts? Or elusive memory leaks? Instead of reacting to problems, we turned GC logs into a proactive monitoring tool by integrating them with Elasticsearch and Kibana. The result? A custom observability layer to help us: 🔍 Detect memory-related anomalies early, 📈 Plan for peak loads (like the holiday season) with confidence, 🧠 Tune JVM behavior based on real data - not assumptions. Top 5 Telecom Trends to Watch in Q2 2025 Q2 often acts as a reality check for telecom operators when strategic plans meet real-world challenges. As we enter this critical quarter of 2025, five key trends are set to shape how MNOs operate, invest, and innovate.. Here are the five telecom trends that will define the coming months: 1️⃣ Private 5G Networks – New Models of Operator-Enterprise Collaboration Private 5G networks are gaining traction, especially in logistics, manufacturing, and public infrastructure. Increasingly, enterprises are seeking more than just connectivity; they want full, end-to-end network solutions tailored to their specific business needs. Mobile network operators are evolving into strategic technology partners, offering secure and scalable private network environments. 2️⃣Open RAN Moves Toward Commercial Adoption After years of trials and proof-of-concepts, Open RAN is entering the deployment phase. With standardized components and vendor-neutral architectures, operators can gain greater cost control and flexibility. It also gives MNOs the opportunity to work with regional technology providers and support local innovation. 3️⃣New EU Roaming Regulations – Adapting Systems and Services From January 2025, updated EU roaming rules will require parity in quality of service between domestic and roaming networks, as well as increased transparency for end users. MNOs are now upgrading billing platforms, refining pricing strategies and adapting communications to meet these standards - without compromising profitability. 4️⃣Cybersecurity Becomes a Core Operational Priority With threats on the rise, from targeted attacks on 5G infrastructure to widespread DDoS incidents, cybersecurity is no longer optional. Telecom operators are investing in SOCs, using AI for anomaly detection, and aligning with new European directives like NIS2 directive to protect critical infrastructure.   Q2 2025 isn't just about maintaining networks - it's about redefining the role of telecom operators as key enablers of digital transformation. 5G, AI, Open RAN, and evolving compliance standards are no longer "emerging"-they are shaping day-to-day operations. 👉 How is your organization preparing for these shifts? Let’s connect and share insights. #TelecomIndustry #5GforBusiness #NetworkTransformation #TelecomLeaders #MNOstrategy Sources: https://lnkd.in/deN_p9vD https://lnkd.in/dheykaxA https://lnkd.in/dTaGjkX5 https://lnkd.in/dX8WYwZS

As the telecommunications industry transitions to 5G and cloud-native environments, mobile network operators (MNOs) face the challenge of maintaining legacy Intelligent Network (IN) systems while adopting modern, scalable technologies. Legacy platforms, while critical for services such as emergency calls and prepaid capabilities, are costly to maintain and lack vendor support. Complete system replacement is often impractical due to high costs and risks. jtendo jNEF offers a solution by bridging legacy systems with modern 5G Network Exposure Function (NEF) capabilities. In compliance with the 3GPP specifications, jNEF exposes network functions via standardized APIs, thus enabling seamless integration of legacy and modern services. By enabling MNOs to offer APIs for location-based services, IoT, and more, this modular platform supports monetization opportunities. jNEF's phased implementation ensures a smooth transition with minimal risk. Its architecture supports both horizontal and vertical scaling, maintaining operational efficiency while preparing operators for future advances such as 6G. With robust security and compliance measures, it enables MNOs to modernize, monetize, and innovate without disrupting essential services. Check out the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/dvUNP4Gm

🔐 Why Your Signaling Firewall is Incomplete Without a GTP-C Module In today’s hyperconnected mobile networks, GTP-C isn’t just another protocol - it’s the backbone of 4G/5G data tunneling. Yet, its vulnerabilities are a goldmine for attackers. Without a dedicated GTP-C module in your Signaling Firewall, your network is exposed to stealthy cross-protocol exploits, fraudulent hijacking, and catastrophic outages. Let’s break down why GTP-C security is non-negotiable: 🛡️ Key Reasons to Prioritize GTP-C Protection 1. Cross-Protocol Attack Defense: Modern threats span SS7, Diameter, SIP, and GTP-C. A GTP-C firewall correlates signals across protocols to block multi-vector attacks that isolated defenses miss. 2. Bypass Technique Mitigation: Adversaries exploit GTP-C’s control-plane role to bypass legacy security. Robust GTP-C modules validate TEIDs, APNs, and subscriber identities in real time, shutting down loopholes. 3. Resource Exhaustion Prevention: Malicious GTP-C floods can cripple nodes. Rate limiting, message sanitization, and tunnel-state checks keep capacity intact. 🚨 Critical Use Cases for GTP-C Firewalls 1. Session Hijacking: Block unauthorized tunnel creation/modification by validating roaming partner IEs and subscriber data. 2. GTP-in-GTP Attacks: Detect encapsulated payloads used to smuggle malicious traffic. 3. Subscriber Impersonation: Halt spoofed PDP contexts by cross-checking IMSI against live subscriber databases. 4. Malformed Message Sanitization: Reject or correct non-compliant GTP-C packets before they destabilize nodes. 5. Fraudulent Roaming: Enforce APN whitelists and geo-location rules to prevent unauthorized data roaming. ⚡ The Future-Proof Edge With 5G SA rolling out, GTP’s role is evolving - not disappearing. 👉 Is your signaling firewall equipped to handle GTP-C’s unique risks? Let’s discuss how to close these gaps with adaptive, multi-protocol security. #TelecomSecurity #5G #SignalingFirewall #GTPFirewall

How we're preventing scam calls in Poland. Our Inter-Operator API is already delivering real results in Poland. Key statistics from the Safe Harbour implementation: ✅ millions of calls blocked since deployment. Fraudulent call rates reduced by over 90%. ✅significant reduction in customer complaints. This is not just a concept - it is a proven solution already working in real telecom networks. Total number of restricted calls (blocked + presentation restricted) The chart shows a steady increase in the number of fraudulent calls detected and restricted by all participating MNOs in Poland. Millions of fraudulent calls have been blocked since the Safe Harbour solution was implemented. Key statistics: - over 5,000,000 calls successfully blocked. - drastic reduction of scam calls affecting Polish users. This proves that the Inter-Operator API effectively combats CLI spoofing in real networks. Increased effectiveness in spoofing detection: - block rate increased 100x-120x compared to pre-Safe Harbour levels. - restricted presentation calls increased 60x-80x - meaning that even if a call isn't blocked, its risk level is flagged to protect the user. This shows that the solution doesn't just work - it's transforming fraud prevention at scale. You can still support this security breakthrough and vote here: https://lnkd.in/emzn5B-6 Voting closes on 16th March at 23:59 CET. Thank you all for your commitment so far! 😊 Dariusz Adasiak jtendo #TheInnovators2025 #TelecomSecurity #InterOperatorAPI #AntiCLISpoofing
