🌎Positive news for #WorldHealthDay🌎 Progress seems to finally be being made on banning PFAS, or 'forever chemicals', a group of chemicals found in all manner of everyday products from cookware to waterproof clothing. This group of thousands of chemicals has been shown through extensive research to have negative effects on our health in many different ways, from increasing the risk of certain cancers to limiting foetal development. We are starting to see countries introduce restrictions and bans on PFAS, which is progress worth spotlighting. However, there is still a way to go.
