The NASA Administrator's visit to Panama was a great opportunity to engage with the youth, specially with those with interest in STEAM careers. We're really glad students from Colegio Agustiniano who are part of the ESRI GEOlab had this amazing experience. #LaCienciaNosUne
Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity of presenting alongside Ricardo Sánchez about our work in Panama using NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration data, to Bill Nelson, the NASA Administrator, while representing the participants of ESRI’s Remote Sensing and Data Science Program. We showcased how technical skills in remote sensing and data science enable us to develop impactful projects that address critical challenges in our communities, such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, and disaster management. These tools empower us to transform data into meaningful actions that drive real change. A heartfelt thank you to Emilce Mejía Toscano, Esri Panamá, U.S. Embassy Panama, and EducationUSA for this unforgettable experience that reaffirmed the power of geospatial technology and youth-driven innovation!
