The way we think about entrepreneurship needs to change. It’s not just about launching startups or chasing investment—it’s a mindset, a skill set, and a way of approaching challenges. At Ripyl®, we believe entrepreneurial thinking should start early, equipping young minds with problem-solving, adaptability, and leadership skills that will serve them in any future career. The world is evolving fast, and the ability to navigate it will matter more than ever. Our Founder Dave C. talks about why fostering this mindset in students is a game-changer. #Entrepreneurship #Education #FutureSkills https://lnkd.in/ge4KDMvZ
When we talk about entrepreneurship, most people picture startups, investors, and big ideas. But at Ripyl®, we see it differently. Entrepreneurial thinking isn’t just for founders, it’s a life skill and critical for our youngest minds to understand and consume. The world is changing faster than ever, and the jobs of tomorrow don’t exist yet. What will always matter? The ability to solve problems, think creatively, adapt, and lead. These aren’t just business skills, they’re the skills that set students up for any path they choose.

Ripyl® (that's us!), is an award-winning education platform that is transforming how business and commerce are taught in high schools. Originally sparked from insights gained while running a high-growth accelerator in #NewZealand, Ripyl was created to bridge the gap between theory and real-world business skills for students. Since its first pilot in 2019, Ripyl has expanded into high schools, secured $250K+ in investment, won New Zealand’s Best Youth Programme (Global Entrepreneurship Network New Zealand 2023), and built a custom digital platform that connects teachers globally. Now, we’re scaling into #Australia, the #USA, #Canada, and the #UK, empowering even more students with real-world business education. As 2024 year comes to a close and Santa is resting at the North Pole, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve had this year at The Brave Venture. Every program, every initiative, and every impact story has been made possible by our passionate team and the incredible communities we work with. To Bronwyn Rickard, Jen Scott, Mike Creed, Stephen Kelly, Hamish O'Brien, Vicki Stewart, Carlyn Smith, Matthew Conger, Shane O'Brien, Andrew Stewart and Sarah Ellison, thank you for your hard work, creativity, dedication and belief. You inspire me every single day. Gratitude isn’t just a value we live by, it’s something we actively teach our students. We show them how practising gratitude opens doors, fosters meaningful connections, and builds trust. Gratitude is more than a mindset; it’s a skill that empowers young entrepreneurs and future leaders to recognise the contributions of others, celebrate collective success, and create deeper, more meaningful relationships. Our team at TBV believe that gratitude fuels innovation and collaboration. It turns a good idea into a great one because you can achieve extraordinary things when you truly appreciate your team and resources. Gratitude also helps us and our students stay grounded. It reminds us that even in the toughest moments, there’s always something to be thankful for, and from that place of appreciation comes resilience and optimism. Most of us are on our much-needed Christmas break, which we undervalue here in New Zealand. With its wonderful people, this amazing place makes Christmas amazing, albeit different (Santa wears jandals, which is still weird to me!). So, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of our journey this year: our students, educators, partners, and supporters. Your belief in our mission inspires us to innovate, grow, and strive for impact. And here’s the exciting part - watch this space! We have some big news to share after the break, and I can’t wait to step into 2025 with all of you. Until then, enjoy this season of rest, connection, and, of course, gratitude. Roll on 2025! #Gratitude #TeachingFutureLeaders #Ripyl #ExcitingNews #MerryChristmas #SeeYouIn2025 #happynewyear #entreprenuership #innovation #edtech
