Resuscitation guidelines recommend delivering peak end expiratory pressure (PEEP) whenever positive pressure ventilation is required in the delivery room. On a T-Piece resuscitator, such as the F&P Neopuff, PEEP can be set to the desired pressure and tested before use on a patient. Research has shown that providing PEEP early during ventilation improves the response to surfactant and may reduce the rates of intubation in the delivery room, as well as development of lung injuries. Learn more about the F&P Neopuff here: https://lnkd.in/g_JUWnCX
