This means a lot. One of the hardest places in world rugby to play. We’re so proud to wear a jersey today that represents the legacy of the Crusaders connection to Fiji. 🇫🇯 ❤️ Until next time. Fijian Drua Fiji Airways Classic Sportswear

Gut Feelings... a healthy mind takes guts. It was awesome to support Aotea Electric Canterbury and The Gut Foundation NZ at their Gut Feelings Expo today in Christchurch. "One of the really great things about having the Crusaders involved is having positive role models talk about what you need to feed your bodies to be fit and healthy. Also, it gives us the chance to talk about the concept of 'team' and the team of 'gut buddies', the microbiome inside your gut, and you need to feed the team in order to run fast, jump high and play well with whatever the kids choose to do" Alice Fitzgerald, CEO, The Gut Foundation NZ Thank you to Alice Fitzgerald MBA (Distinction) BBus(InternatBus), Tim Kennedy & Brian Auld for the invitation. Blue on the outside... but we know there is red and back on the inside! It was a pleasure to have the Rt Hon Christopher Luxon visit Crusaders HQ last week. As a Christchurch Boys' High School alumni, it was great for a couple of CBHS former Head Boys to show the PM around. Thanks Louie Chapman & Manumaua Letiu. There is plenty of politics in rugby, so good to get some advice from the boss! 😎 Thanks to Classic Sportswear for the puffer - I'm sure it will get lots of use in Auckland (and at the Beehive). Last Friday, some of our Crusaders players and U20s Champions headed out to Broadfields School for a wholesome afternoon, connecting and creating memories with the next generation of Crusaders fans. A huge thanks to Nick Bell for organising this for the school and to our mates from Sky New Zealand for filming this special moment for us! What the video didn’t show is that the kids also brought in stationery to donate to children less fortunate than themselves. It’s truly inspiring to see our fans ‘Crusading with Heart’ for each other. Kirsty Brown Chris Sloane Marcus Kennedy Kale Joines Grace Jones NEP New Zealand

Forward Pack(ing) Lunches. We are thankful for the opportunity to be able to help Full Bellies this season. Our forwards set the platform on the field. As a Club, we’re so proud to see them leading this mahi off the field. ❤️ Craig Waghorn Kirsty Brown Colin Mansbridge

"Trophies will come and go, you'll win some, you'll lose some... the hardest thing you'll ever earn in rugby is the respect of your team mates... and I feel through tonight's recognition, it symbolises that I might have got that... I'm very proud" The humble words of Leon MacDonald (Crusader #37) on accepting his place in the Crusaders Hall of Fame. Rugby fan or not, this is an amazing event to be part of... so we hope you can join us at the Crusaders Hall of Fame, presented by 2degrees, on Friday 9 May at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre Tables available at: https://lnkd.in/g98fRQdN Youth Hub Christchurch Kirsty Brown Colin Mansbridge Doug McSweeney Grace Jones
