We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr John Mayhew (ONZM), known affectionally by so many simply as “Doc”. Mayhew made an immense contribution to the sports medicine field in New Zealand, including as All Blacks Team Doctor from 1988-2004. We send our sympathies to Doc’s loved ones, his colleagues and friends at North Harbour Rugby, and the players he served throughout his career, who will be feeling his loss. Thank you, Doc. Moe mai rā 🖤 For comments from NZR CEO Mark Robinson and All Blacks Head Coach Scott Robertson, please see our website: https://bit.ly/4cmXY6N
