In climate-vulnerable southwest #Bangladesh, where rising seas and erratic rains threaten crops and livelihoods, Mosammat Laboni Khatun is growing sustainable solutions. Facing poor soil, chemical-heavy farming and limited freedom as a young woman, she joined the Bijoy Nagar Nari Unnayan Women Cooperative. She reshaped her one-third acre land into a model for climate-smart agriculture. Through the co-op, she received training on safe vegetable production, financial management and cooperative leadership, along with a loan for climate-resilient seeds and connections to buyers.
