Yesterday, Verband Forschender Arzneimittelhersteller e.V. (VFA) and Fraunhofer Gesundheit introduced the strategy “Pharma R&D 2035 – Germany’s framework for investment for the future” at the "Future Medicine Innovation Days"  (English translations forthcoming) https://lnkd.in/eMYSdS37 From Vintura , Jan-Philipp Beck and Laura Müller contributed to the strategy, particularly through the development of a monitoring instrument named 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗗. It contains key metrics to record medium- and long-term progress or setbacks in Germany as a location for pharmaceutical research and thus to identify further need for optimization. https://lnkd.in/echhCybC Germany has the potential to deliver more pharma innovation. Our translation gap is a shortcoming compared to leading countries and intellectual capital is unfortunately not used sufficiently. It takes too long for us to go from patents to patients and progress only comes into clinical care late.
