Meet our colleague Bart Leurs! Bart joined Valcon in February, bringing with him a wealth of experience in technology, data and innovation. As Global Head of Technology, Bart plays a pivotal role in shaping Valcon’s technology strategy and serves as the connecting link between digital and tech leads across the group. With over two decades of experience, Bart’s career spans leadership roles at Rabobank, where he served on the managing board, and ING, where he spent 14 years abroad building digital banks in three different countries. His expertise in driving digital transformation and innovation on a global scale is invaluable as Valcon continues to grow. Bart is passionate about collaboration and sees Valcon as a company with tremendous potential. He values the strong team culture and believes that working together not only strengthens internal teams but also delivers better outcomes for clients. Together with Valcon’s group board, Bart is contributing to Valcon’s 2030 strategy, a vision to take the company to the next level as a leading pan-European digital service provider. Last month, Valcon’s Sustainable Finance team hosted an interactive workshop for two leading banks - ING and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. - exploring the climate-nature nexus. This session brought together global sustainability leads and climate and nature team experts from both banks. With a group of eight highly skilled professionals, we had an inspiring and insightful discussion on the connections between climate and nature.
