The European Investment Bank (EIB) committed a record €51 billion to support the green transition, and another €31 billion for infrastructure essential to the green steel transition. Yet, the EU steel industry has been seeing headlines such as: 🔻 Chinese overcapacity of steel resulting in cheap imports; imports make up 27% of all market share 🔻 U.S steel and aluminium tariffs of 25% 🔻 Rising energy costs, Europe imports almost 60% of its energy products How can we overcome these challenges? ✅ Governments and private investors must accelerate funding for hydrogen-based steel production and renewable energy integration. ✅ Automation, AI, and advanced quality control systems can enhance production efficiency, reduce material waste, and validate new green steel production methods ✅ Regional supply chain development: Encouraging local sourcing of raw materials and energy can reduce dependency on imports and stabilise production costs. As the steel industry makes the green transition, quality control remains top of line. Unlike traditional spot-check methods, RESONIKS allows manufacturers to test every single steel part, reducing defects and minimising waste. Our solution can help increase manufacturers confidence in new green steel production, helping the EU meet their climate goals and supporting EU steel. Read more below. https://lnkd.in/eE5ukJ5g

At RESONIKS, we harness the power of resonance to bring unparalleled precision to defect detection in manufacturing. But did you know that resonance has also been at the core of some of humanity’s most precise instruments - like the atomic clock? ⏱️ An atomic clock is one of the most accurate timekeeping devices in existence, and relies on the natural frequency of atoms to keep time with extraordinary accuracy. In this post, we explore how atomic clocks work, the science of resonance behind them, and how this principle drives the cutting-edge technologies we develop at RESONIKS. 👇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eqhTPuGZ

Big thank you to Paulus Wonga and Felix Wassmann for the incredible achievements they attained on behalf of RESONIKS at the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit! Winning the pitch competition for the Industry & Machines category further validates our vision of automating #QualityControl and advancing the realm of Acoustic AI 🥇 Until next year! 🚀
Last week Felix and I attended Hello Tomorrow and what an event it was indeed! Out of 4600 applications, RESONIKS were selected as an Emerging Pioneer and the WINNER of Industry & Machines track, 1 out of 10 tracks! Despite not going all the way for the main prizes, this accolade still reflects the need of an improvement in Quality Control today which is recognized by our industry peers. This award goes to our whole team in Tampere and The Hague, where we work hard everyday to make an impact, literally😉 Also a big shoutout to #DiscoverDutchDeeptech for providing us a platform to be a part of this years Dutch Delegation! P.S. My arms indeed were sweaty, knees weak and arms spaghetti before pitching on the big stage in front of 600+ people, but these are the things that drive me forward. what an amazing experience!
