Reflecting on an Incredible Journey with Enactus Utrecht ! Over the past six months, I had the opportunity to take part in the Dare to Lead program, where my team and I worked on a societal challenge related to migration—specifically, the long-term integration of Ukrainian refugees in Utrecht. Many refugees face difficulties adapting to life in the Netherlands, from understanding legal rights to navigating cultural differences. Together with Diana Crucitti, Karim Chehadeh, Alma Ouweneel, Marta Rutkowski, Karlota Jasinkiewicz Herrador, and Ola, we developed a prototype for an app that centralizes integration services—bridging the gap between refugees and existing initiatives. This app is designed to provide Ukrainian refugees with easy access to essential information, resources, and support, empowering them to navigate life in the Netherlands more effectively and at their own pace. A huge thank you to Utrecht Municipality and Vital’nya for their collaboration, and to Annelot Lodder for her invaluable guidance throughout this journey. The workshops, training sessions, and mentorship from experienced coaches and industry experts played a crucial role in shaping our approach and refining our prototype. One of the highlights of this experience was presenting our Minimal Viable Prototype at the national Test Event, where we received insightful feedback from fellow teams and support circle members. This journey has reinforced my belief that entrepreneurship and social responsibility can go hand in hand to create meaningful change. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us along the way—our coaches, partners, and fellow participants. Excited to see where this project leads next!

🌿 Spring is here – time to green our streets! 🌿 As spring begins, so does the opportunity to revitalize our urban spaces. Groene Gevels is excited to complete its first pilot project, installing green designs together with residents and grow the urban jungle.
