Taipei Takeaways!
Just returned from a great week at the TAIPEI CYCLE show, where Dynamic Bike Care exhibited for the second time. Here are some insights from our experience:
📍 Booth Location Matters:
Last year, our position in the front half of Hall 1 ensured consistent engagement from the start. This year, situated towards the back, we noticed a significant increase in activity on the second day.
✅ Quality Over Quantity:
While overall attendance seemed lower than last year, the quality of interactions was high. In 2024, we established numerous new distribution partnerships; this year, our focus shifted to strengthening those relationships. For Dynamic, having fewer visitors didn't impact our objectives, as our key customers were present.
⏰ Prearrange Meetings with Clear Objectives:
We scheduled discussions with existing distributors to align on our upcoming product launches. Additionally, we strategized go-to-market plans with partners from the APAC region, where in-person meetings are less frequent.
🧹 Clarify Booth Messaging:
Ensuring our booth design and displays effectively communicate our brand's message is crucial—an area identified for improvement.
📣 Engage Beyond the Booth:
Attending Quoc Pham's keynote highlighted the power of compelling brand storytelling, underscoring the importance of refining how we convey our narrative.
📈 Market Development:
The Taiwanese market continues to evolve positively for Dynamic, thanks to our friends at Sport Mania. Our turnover quadrupled in 2024, and we're on a similar trajectory for 2025. With close to 50 dealers, our market penetration is strong, and we remain committed to nurturing these partnerships.
🫕 Cultural Appreciation:
Taiwan is a remarkable country to visit, boasting hospitable people and a rich culture. Its safety, cleanliness, and modernity make it worthwhile to allocate extra time beyond the show to explore and appreciate the local environment.
The TAIPEI CYCLE show continues to be an invaluable platform for growth and learning. We're eager to implement these takeaways and enhance our presence in future exhibitions.
Thanks for a great week Joost van Leeuwen!
