Corbion’s first #CSRD-compliant Annual Report is now live! https://lnkd.in/d3jfb4tE Over the past year, our teams have worked diligently to deliver our first annual report under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which enhances transparency and ensures sustainability data meets the same high standards as financial reporting. The complexity and scope of reporting on environmental, social, and governance aspects required continuous cross-functional collaboration and flexibility. This publication marks a significant milestone, improving the comparability of our sustainability data with other companies and supporting better decision-making moving forward. What an experience! Here are some key learnings we wanted to share: If you’re just starting, commit and begin! You will find your way. Be curious and open! Upskilling and curiosity are invaluable in this process, as is trusting your organization’s ability to find answers through meaningful discussions. Measure what matters! As a science-based company, we’ve always trusted in the power of data to drive positive change. However, it's just as crucial to be able to translate that data in a way that resonates with executives, aligns with your strategy, and can be communicated externally. Years of having our sustainability reporting assured helped prepare us to bring this together seamlessly.
