Great to see the final result of our animation development for and together with ESA’s FLPP. Different style, same great impact! Brought to life by one of our talented MediaLab 3D artists, Kees van der Vijver, this animation highlights key innovations of the Future Launchers Preparatory Program (#FLPP) including reusable launchers, space tugs, and Odyssey - the cosmic gas station extending mission lifespans. European Space Agency - ESA is pioneering a future where modular, reusable launchers seamlessly integrate with in-space transportation vehicles that can dock, refuel, and service payloads. Europe is gearing up towards making space travel smoother, smarter, and built to last and we are proud to contribute to that! Watch the animation and see the future of space travel in motion!

Back at JEC World 2025: Joining the global gathering for composites innovation! Recently, JEC World brought together the value chain of the composites industry in Paris, making it the ultimate destination for professionals from over 100 countries in the field. We couldn’t miss such an important event, as both a former winner of the JEC Aerospace Category Parts award and a dedicated provider of composite solutions. Last year, the award and display of our central tube sparked curiosity and recognition, paving the way for greater engagement. This time around, we saw a more application-driven interest as new manufacturers and customers explored our patented lattice technology with a focus on the potential for integration into their developments. And of course, JEC World is also about strengthening existing partnerships. We were glad to reconnect with   some of our trusted partners - ÉireComposites Teo , Ostseestaal GmbH & Co. KGToray Advanced Composites, and ELIGIO RE FRASCHINI S.P.A.. These partnerships strengthen our supply chain, ensuring that we continue delivering high quality products to our customers at competitive prices. If you didn’t catch us at JEC World 2025, don’t worry—we’ll be present at other key industry events soon and details will come later! #JECWorld2025 #Composites #Innovation #Space  #Engineering

  • Back from the Small Satellites & Services International Forum (SSSIF25) in Málaga, and what an event it was! For ATG Europe, SSSIF was the opportunity to strengthen our network within Spain’s growing space ecosystem. Great to see launch providers and satellite manufacturers showing strong interest in our engineering services as well as our composite solutions offering weight and cost-saving benefits. Meanwhile, communication teams in both the public and private sector increasingly see the added value of our MediaLab visual productions in their messaging, and there is a clear demand for ATG’s technical expertise across the board. If we spoke at #SSSIF25, let’s keep these connections and turn them into collaborations. We are looking forward to what’s next!

A flying start to 2025! 🎉 We’re delighted to announce that we have won a new contract to provide communications services to the European Space Agency - ESA. ESA was looking for a single communications service for all its channels, now expanded across five pillars: editorial, video/image distribution, graphics, corporate public affairs and logistics. To meet this need, we will continue to work with our partners Publicis Sapient, World Wide Group and ATG Europe, in order to guarantee a 360-degree communications service. Frederic Le Gall, ESA Technical Officer of the contract, explains: “ESA was looking for a streamlined communications service across five pillars. We wanted a single provider to cover all our channels, providing everything from editorial services to video, graphics and branding support, as well as public affairs and logistics services. Throughout a rigorous tender process, the EJR-Quartz consortium has demonstrated that it has the knowledge and experience to meet our needs.“ With EJR-Quartz as prime contractor, the Communications Service Provision (CSP) contract is organised as follows: • Editing and Publishing services • Video/image Production and Distribution services • Graphics Applications services • Corporate Public Affairs and Social Media services • Outreach and Logistics services In an evolution of the previous CSP contract, EJR-Quartz provides all editorial and publishing services, as well as public relations and strategic communications; World Wide Group is responsible for the video and related distribution services; Publicis Sapient provides graphics services, including branding and merchanding; while ATG Europe provides logistics and organisational support. Erica Rolfe, EJR-Quartz Managing Director, explains: “We’re delighted that ESA continues to place its trust in us. Our companies have already been working together successfully for the last five years, combining strong storytelling skills with graphical/branding excellence, extensive TV and video competence, and strong public relations and organisational support. The success of this tender is thanks to the strength of our dedicated and experienced CSP service team.“ At the kick-off meeting on 9 January, Erica Rolfe handed over management of the CSP contract to Karin Ranero, EJR-Quartz Operations Manager. Kelsea Brennan-Wessels, Head of the Management Support Unit within ESA’s Communication Department, was introduced as the new ESA Technical Officer, taking over from Frederic Le Gall from 1 March onwards. The three-year service contract is already off to a flying start, with eight new Earth Observation missions to support this year, the first launch of Ariane 64, the new class of ESA astronauts, the International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget and the first release of Euclid data. We’re proud to continue to support ESA’s communication activities. #scicomm #communications #ESA #logistics #EJRQuartzforESA ℹ️: https://lnkd.in/dtaWyyVK

  • Pathfinder Hawk: The first step of many! Last week, the HEO (Hawk for Earth Observation) Pathfinder microsatellite successfully entered orbit! This marks the launch of the first satellite in the Hawk for Earth Observation constellation, part of the IRIDE programme—an ambitious Italian space initiative funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Coordinated by the European Space Agency (ESA) with support from the Italian Space Agency (ASI), the IRIDE programme involves the deployment of six satellite constellations, one of which is Hawk for Earth Observation, developed by the Italian company Argotec, based in San Mauro Torinese.  As a pathfinder, the HEO microsatellite serves as a prototype for what is to come in the following years: the creation of Italy's Earth observation constellation This end-to-end system will include both the upstream component (satellite constellations), the downstream component (ground operational infrastructure), and the service segment—ultimately providing a wide range of geospatial services to institutional users. ATG is extremely proud of the role we continue to play in this program, and of our colleagues working together with ESA and ASI to make it a success. For example, we support IRIDE by providing technical assistance to the integrated project team (covering end-to-end technical reviews), as well as communication services. This year alone, a further 9 HEO satellites are planned for launch, with 15 more expected in 2026. As we move forward, there will be much more progress to witness. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the ATG team for this remarkable achievement!
