We recently welcomed two dynamic student groups from University of Malaya (UM) for an exclusive visit to our Maxis Business Innovation Centre (MBIC), where they explored how our cutting-edge technologies like augmented reality, facial recognition, and IoT, are shaping the future of business solutions. Through these engagements, we connected with close to 100 students from the Speak Up Project by AIESEC Malaysia and Persatuan Komputer Universiti Malaya (PEKOM), as well as Kolej Kediaman Tun Ahmad Zaidi. They had the opportunity to connect with our Maxis young talents, including UM alumni and graduates from the Maxis Graduate Programme. Our Maxis young talents provided insights into their journeys from campus to corporate, gave a peek into #LifeAtMaxis, and discussed how purpose and impact shape their work. Students from the Speak Up Project by AIESEC in Malaysia and PEKOM also took part in a speed networking session with our young talents, diving into career advice and meaningful conversations about purpose-driven work. Recently, our team embraced the spirit of Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri through meaningful initiatives focused on fostering unity and community engagement. ✨ A special iftar with Badan Amal Nur Zaharah (BANZ) – We hosted an iftar gathering for orphans and underprivileged children at BANZ in Bentong, Pahang, joined by Bentong MP YB Young Syefura Othman. The event was filled with heartfelt activities to spread festive cheer ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maxis provided essential furniture and bedding, distributed gift vouchers, and led a gotong-royong effort to refresh the centre’s facilities and communal spaces. The evening concluded with iftar and Tarawih prayers. ✨ Bubur Lambuk Hotlink Campus Tour – In collaboration with Honor of Kings, we distributed 11,000 servings of bubur lambuk across 11 universities and polytechnics, bringing warmth and joy to students and local communities. Meaningful connections go beyond technology—they are built through shared experiences and togetherness.
