Most recently, as Lead Data Scientist at Prisma Retail she led data innovation strategies, optimizing the data pipeline and implementing AI-driven pricing models, including dynamic pricing algorithms. She has also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at EY, developing business efficiency applications, and as a Research Consultant in Behavioral Economics, designing interventions to influence user behavior while integrating anomaly detection to monitor impact and reveal unintended outcomes. With a PhD in Economics from Jacobs University Bremen (Germany) and extensive teaching experience in quantitative finance, industrial organization, and experimental economics —and as she nears the completion of her Computer Science degree—, Micaela brings a unique blend of academic depth and practical application to AltScore.
