I participated last week in the "Weekend of Solutions" organised by CELL - Citizens for Ecological Learning & Living. This festival of hope was dedicated to new initiatives and local projects in Luxembourg and at the global level, which are contributing to sustainability and well-being of all in different facets of the economy namely food, energy, carbon emissions, senior citizens and disabilities. My participation was as an EU Climate Pact Ambassador and one of my software solutions, CTrackX, the carbon footprint calculator from Nash FintechX was also shown with the solutions of other ambassadors. The carbon footprint calculator, CTrackX, from Nash FintechX now has a ‘Share’ option, which will let you share your carbon footprint report with others. We have also provided the option to view your footprint history, which keeps a record of all footprint reports generated by you. CTrackX adheres to GDPR and the users can delete the reports whenever they desire. We will delete all reports within one year of creation, in case the user does not delete. The calculated carbon footprint gives the values associated with the results both in the pie chart and the comparison graph, when you hover over/ touch them. Thanks to the efforts of Humayun Kabir, Sheikh Farid and Prince Charles-amachree we have a calculator that is very intuitive to use, is backed by 2023 base data from World Bank for comparison, and uses values from governing bodies of industrial associations for calculation of footprint. The shared report contains random data by a test user.
