[THE #VOP REGISTER OF PARTICIPANTS IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE EPC WEBSITE] The European Payments Council (EPC) just released the first – and highly anticipated – version of its #VerificationofPayee Register of Participants. The VOP ROP will be refreshed/updated daily, by adding or removing the names of Participants leaving or exiting the Scheme. It differs from the EDS as it does not constitute an operational database, does not contain a comprehensive list of BICs used by a Scheme Participant and is not designed for routing VOP exchanges. The ROP contains a record for each Applicant or Participant and includes the following information: → Country of the Applicant or Participant → Name of the Applicant or Participant → Address of its registered office → City of its registered office → Reference identifier – a BIC8 or BIC11 selected by and applicable to the Participant → ROP status (“accepted” or “ready for operations”) → Roles (“requesting PSP”, “responding PSP”) → Operational Readiness Date (ORD) → Scheme Leaving Date, if applicable LUXHUB, as an #RVM, can support PSPs in their registration in the ROP and in the EDS, and strongly advises PSPs to launch their adherence process during Wave 1 (open from March 24th to May 15th) 🚨 The ROP is available here, at the bottom of the page: https://lnkd.in/dpJxJgy #IPR #InstantPayments ABBL | The Payments Association EU

[#VOP COUNTDOWN: A DEDICATED PORTAL & A USEFUL SANDBOX] With the #VerificationofPayee deadline approaching for PSPs – in exactly 6 months today – LUXHUB is thrilled to unveil its new VOP Portal, Alethia, which stands for "spirit of truth" Ancient Greek. The Portal will provide the following: 1️⃣ 𝗩𝗢𝗣 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘆: Direct checks through GUI, both single and in bulk, with access to past check results. Essential for operations and account management handling asynchronous transactions; 2️⃣ 𝗩𝗢𝗣 𝗨𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Access detailed reports and KPI dashboards, providing invaluable insights for VOP Project Managers, Compliance, and Operations Management teams; 3️⃣ 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Monitor data retrieval activities to respond to incoming VOP requests whether they use regular file updates or a dedicated API. We've also introduced a generic 𝗘𝗣𝗖 𝗩𝗢𝗣 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝗣𝗜 in the LUXHUB Marketplace: it consists in the same #API that will be, in the future, exposed on behalf of LUXHUB clients to all #EPC VOP Scheme participants, with mock data. [CONNECTING BANKS TO ENABLE #INSTANTPAYMENTS]   Along with Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), we’ve recently supported the Luxembourg branch of SEB in the reception of Instant Payments from January 9th, 2025.   This important milestone for the bank was made possible through direct participant BIL which provides SEB’s local branch in #Luxembourg with an access to real-time payments, with transactions processed within 10 seconds, all day long, 365 days a year.
