Site Reliability Engineer

About The Role

We're looking for a technically skilled SRE with strong leadership and communication skills, passionate about innovation and impact to join a cutting-edge mobility innovation company in Japan. You'll help build cloud infrastructure, set standards, and explore new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain systems that enhance monitoring, reliability, and development workflows.
  • Ensure systems stay healthy and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Advise teams on reliability strategies across the full software development lifecycles, including architecture and code reviews.
  • Capacity planning and failure simulations.
  • Boost productivity and system efficiency by automating processes and minimizing repetitive work.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS (AWS certification required)
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, including using CDK for Kubernetes (CDK8s)
  • Proficient in infrastructure automation with Terraform
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • Solid software development background, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, or Java
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
