If you want to hear what our partners are doing using our quantum computers check out the panel at The Montgomery Summit. I really enjoyed hearing from Matt Langione (Boston Consulting Group (BCG)), Michael Hush (Q-CTRL), Román Orús (Multiverse Computing), and Tennin Yan (QunaSys). The panel starts at 10:07 - https://lnkd.in/eyhcJ_mn
Quantum computing is at an inflection point—the industry is moving beyond theoretical research into practical, utility-scale applications. At The Montgomery Summit 2025 presented by March Capital, experts from across the quantum ecosystem joined a discussion moderated by Emily Fontaine (IBM Ventures), featuring insights from Matt Langione (Boston Consulting Group (BCG)), Michael Hush (Q-CTRL), Román Orús (Multiverse Computing), and Tennin Yan (QunaSys), with an introduction by Jay Gambetta (IBM Quantum). The conversation explored how quantum computing already demonstrates advantages over classical supercomputers in specific tasks. BCG estimates quantum computing to create $450 billion to $850 billion in economic value by 2040. Industry leaders predict that the “quantum advantage”—where quantum systems outperform classical computers in practical use cases—is within reach in the coming years. Applications in materials science, finance, and logistics are poised to reshape industries. How will open platforms, ecosystem collaboration, and strategic investments accelerate this shift? 📺 Watch the full session presented by IBM on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/e84zRjQt Thank you to IBM for your partnership and support of The Montgomery Summit 💙 #MontySummit #QuantumComputing #IBM #QuantumAdvantage #Innovation

🌍Excited to share this amazing visual summary created during a recent talk by our colleague Ronin Wu at Novo Nordisk Foundation Science Cluster #AI4Quantum conference! Ronin presented our latest research at QunaSys on "Optimizing Quantum Chemical Simulations with Randomized Linear Encoding and Neural Network Decoding." The talk explored how to use qubit space more efficiently, compress fermionic complexity, and bridge the classical-quantum divide using neural networks. 🎨To our delight, Eleonora Nigro, a scientific Illustrator was present in the session and live-illustrated the talk as it unfolded. The result is not only visually stunning but also a powerful tool to communicate complex ideas clearly. 🧠Quantum x Machine Learning 🧪Chemistry meets Computation 🌉Bridging Classical and Quantum Realms Huge thanks to Eleonora Nigro (https://lnkd.in/d2FFirSQ) for capturing the essence of Ronin's talk so beautifully! Grateful to have taken part in the Novo Nordisk Foundation and Novo Nordisk Foundation Science Cluster #AI4Quantum conference—energising sessions, thought-stimulating exchanges, meaningful new connections, and spectacular hospitality. Huge thanks to the organisers for the warm welcome and the chance to share our work! #quantumcomputing #machinelearning #neuralnetworks #quantumchemistry #sciviz #graphicrecording #QunaSys
