This month, Astellas celebrates our 20th Anniversary as a company. Astellas was established in April 2005 through the merger of two companies: Yamanouchi Pharmaceutical (founded in 1923) and Fujisawa Pharmaceutical (founded in 1894). Since then, we have reached more than 159 million patients in 103 countries with therapies that have helped to transform their lives. We want to say an enormous thank you to all of our Astellas colleagues and partners around the world for making this achievement possible. We are excited to share that Nick Eshkenazi, our Chief Digital and Transformation Officer (CDTO), recently spoke at the Moxie Authority 2025. This prestigious event brought together 400 influential leaders in technology and business, including executives and key decision-makers.    During his session titled "AI: Enthusiasm or Execution?", Nick explored the critical distinction between market hype and reality, providing insights into true AI sentiment among Australian businesses. He also addressed the gap between enthusiasm and execution, discussing ongoing deployment roadblocks and innovative use cases.  Nick engaged with the audience by answering pressing and relevant AI questions.
