We are hiring! Consultation Role: Individual consultancy for supporting a social media platform. Consultation period: Expected starting date is 1 December 2024 until 1 May 2025 for 30 working days. Organization: Contract will be commissioned through Tammey for Human Development.    Objectives of the assignment The social media consultant will support creating a unified social media platform to serve as a hub for youth advocacy, knowledge sharing, and skill promotion. This platform will be led and managed by a number of youth-led initiatives that have been addressing different youth issues and causes. The consultant will develop the platform and build necessary capacities related to such a platform such as but not limited to equip youth with skills in managing social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement etc.        Consultant is also expected to work in participatory approach in direct consultation and engagement with youth-led initiatives members to build the platform objectives, scope, governance, content, guidelines and branding. Consultant will also identify the necessary capacity that is needed to ensure the platform functions effectively, training skills may include but not limited to content creation, engagement, messaging, safeguarding etc. Financial offer  Consultation covers a total of 30 working days. Consultant to provide daily fees. Founded in 2010, it operates through its core team of experts and consultants focusing on: - Creating opportunities for young people to achieve self-actualization and identity awareness. - Cultivating youth-community mutual appreciation, respect and partnerships. - Professionalizing youth work and creating a community of practice. Objectives: Support operational requirements for projects and expediting work results. Scope of work and responsibilities and tasks: - Support team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication. - Conduct preparations for field work, visits and schedules ensuring needed equipment, material and printouts as needed. - Prepare logistics details for workshops, trainings such as selecting venues, communicating with relevant participants and consultants, documentation, ensuring needed equipment, material and printouts as needed etc. - Ensure communication channels with participants as requested by team. - Manage team calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate appointments. - Keep and conduct inventory check of office supplies and equipment and advise management with requirements. - Carry out procurement process as needed for work and office as well as maintain and update list of service providers and suppliers. - Follow up on budget expenses, keep organized files for all relevant admin and financial invoice, copies, scanning and arranging monthly budgeting reports. - Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques. - Take notes and develop minutes of meetings, sessions etc. - Perform any other duties as needed. Financial offer: Consultant will be paid on monthly basis against satisfactory completion of tasks and time sheet. Requirements and qualifications: - A university degree. - Has 1 year experience in logistical and administrative support as well as field coordination and follow up. - Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat - Fluent in Arabic with good English language, both spoken and written. - Problem solving skills. - Well organized. - Active and energetic. - Having a valid drivers license is a plus. المقاطعة كفعل تحرّري ونضالي… بقلم: كامل النابلسي "يسلّط حمزة خضر-عضو حركة الأردن تقاطع- في حواريته مع طمي على كيفية تشكّل الدافع والحدث المُؤسِس في طفولته والذي تمثل بغزو العراق وسقوط بغداد، وإدراكه الذي تشرّبه من أهله ومن مرّوا بحياته عابرين لكن مؤثرين “نحن لا نملك رفاهية أن نختار أو لا نختار عدم مواجهة المشروع الصهيوني بكل ملحقاته”، وأن فعله يجب أن يتجاوز الفعل الاخلاقي على أهميته، وردة الفعل الآني لما هو استراتيجي و المبادرة بإضعاف هذا الكيان استراتيجياً وعزله وطرده من منطقتنا العربية، فوجد حركيّته المؤثرة وتعبيره عن نفسه في حركة BDS ومجموعتها العاملة في الأردن “الأردن تقاطع". يأخذنا في الحوارية تاريخياً للعوامل التي شكلت حركة مقاطعة “إسرائيل” عالمياً، وأردنياً بعد ذلك، وضرورة إضعافه بسحب الاستثمارات وفرض العقوبات على هذا الكيان الخنجر، بعد انتفاضة الأقصى، والنداء والوثيقة التأسيسية التي صاغها المجتمع الفلسطيني بمثقفيه ومناضليه ونقاباته ومجتمعه المدني بالحرية والعدالة والمساواة في فلسطين وصولاً لحقّ تقرير المصير لكل الشعب الفلسطيني في الوطن والشتات، مستفيدين من تجارب الشعوب الحرة في إيرلندا والهند وجنوب إفريقيا والنضالات ضد الفصل العنصري في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية." لقراءة المقال كاملاً: https://lnkd.in/d3Bhw8Ag ونضالي/
