Youbiquo ha presentato lo scorso martedì presso l’Università di Bari Aldo Moro gli aggiornamenti relativi al progetto JMHR (Joint Mission Human Robot) che propone lo sviluppo di un’intelligenza artificiale in grado di interagire con l’essere umano in maniera diretta. Durante la sessione sono stati presentati i risultati della ricerca dello Spoke 6, che spaziano dai Large Language Model addestrati per la lingua italiana ai modelli di IA spiegabile, progettati per migliorare la chiarezza delle spiegazioni e la robustezza delle decisioni, dagli studi su come progettare un’IA simbiotica centrata sull’utente e su come interagire con essa, a un framework per analizzare e valutare la robustezza etica e legale dei sistemi di IA simbiotica nei diversi contesti. 🧐 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬? This was one of the questions we explored at the workshop we organized during the recent MOTIVATE XR consortium meeting. During the event it was evident that all partners in Motivate XR are highly engaged in mitigating and safeguarding negative and positive Social Ethical and Legal consequences that using state-of-the-art technology may bring. The workshop focused on five specific issues that XR technologies may cause if left unaddressed. Participants considered mitigation measures for these issues from the perspective of the Motivate XR project results and its pilot use cases. Initial analysis shows that a multitude of actors are involved in ensuring the acceptability of the Social, Ethical and Legal consequences of XR technologies. The workshop confirmed that the listed nine types of actors are key and showed that all types of actors have significant roles to play. We were so exited to share our time with the MotivateXR team! As Youbiquo, we are working on hand gesture technology in training for industrial operations such as the assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, and disassembly of industrial goods. Day 2 of the EIC Summit: A day of inspiration, connection, and forward-thinking. Yesterday was filled with engaging presentations, insightful discussions, and valuable networking opportunities. Highlights included attending Bridging Innovation Gaps in Europe with Angela Ivanova, Laurent Volle, and Ivan Stefanic. Other main lecture was Europe as a Global Tech Leader with Enrico Letta and Carlos Moedas. During his presentation, Enrico Letta emphasized the need for a harmonized taxation system across the EU. He highlighted that a uniform tax framework is crucial for the EU to act as a unified entity rather than individual states. This would enhance economic integration and competitiveness, allowing Europe to better compete on the global stage. All of these experts shared their knowledge with the Summit audience, helping to educate them and improve the EU's technological edge.
