Again this year Paper Board Alliance has gladly supported #EcoHackathon, an initiative promoted by Legambiente Lombardia Aps/Onlus to engage students in projects towards environmental innovation and circolar economy. 📍On April 8th, our Energy Manager Elena Troia took part in the working day, contributing with her experience to mentorship activities for the competing teams. This was a real opportunity to exchange ideas on real challenges, and share skills in a creative and engaging framework. Today, 15th March, marks National Lilac Ribbon Day Paper Board Alliance supported “NutriAMOci di salute” a project promoted by Associazione ACCA Lucca ODV to raise awareness for young people on eating disorders, and on the importance of having a balanced relationship with food. The initiative saw over 100 students from Liceo Majorana high school of Capannori, and ITET Benedetti high school of Porcari. Guided meetings were held by experts on themes like the influence of social media, handling emotions linked with nutrition, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. During the project, the students made information posters, elaborating what they learnt into awareness tools. These days, for Lilac Ribbon Day, the winning poster is exhibited in the public spaces of Capannori.
