We’re pleased to present an important milestone in our sustainability journey — a project that reflects a strategic shift in how we approach production and environmental responsibility. In collaboration with Crocco SpA SB and Aliplast (HERA Group), IRSAP has successfully implemented a closed-loop recycling process that enables the complete recovery of plastic waste generated by the shrink film used to package our products. ♻️ Process Overview 1️⃣ Polyethylene scraps from our production lines are collected by Aliplast, which handles the selection, cleaning, and transformation into post-consumer recycled plastic pellets. 2️⃣ These are then supplied to Crocco, who uses them to manufacture new shrink films containing 50% recycled material. 💡 The result? A production cycle that reduces emissions and gives materials a second life within the industrial chain. A tangible commitment made possible by strong collaboration with local partners who, like us, believe in a responsible, replicable industry model. In 2025, we aim to produce 95 tons of shrink film, reusing all of our plastic waste — ensuring nothing goes to landfill. As our CEO Marco Rossi puts it: "At IRSAP, production efficiency has always been a core value. On Wednesday 26 March, IRROM, in partnership with the Technical University Student Organisation, hosted a group of undergraduate students from UTCN. The visit was part of "Infotech", an initiative promoted by the students themselves to foster connections between young talent and local companies, increasing job placement opportunities. The students, who specialise in robotics, automation and mechanics, showed great enthusiasm during their visit to IRROM's production facility. Such events provide invaluable opportunities for students to acquire skills in the field, expand their professional networks and develop their full potential. #IRSAP #students #university #infotech

The Green Economy Festival, which has been tackling issues related to the green economy since 2011, consists of two main phases: the "Factories of Sustainability" tour (March 25-27) and the Festival in Parma (March 28-30), bringing together leading experts in sustainability. As part of the event, IRSAP welcomed more than 50 students, postgraduates, and researchers from top Italian universities. Following an introduction at the museum, participants explored the company’s evolution over more than 60 years. Later, in the technical classroom, the Marketing Director and Sustainability Manager presented IRSAP's vision, outlining its objectives and initiatives to reduce environmental impact through certifications and the responsible use of materials and energy. Two days of professional enrichment, dedicated to the entire value chain, will provide a unique opportunity for the audience to delve into new scenarios, generate strategic ideas and identify emerging trends, with the participation of internationally renowned keynote speakers. The main theme of Heat Pump Technologies will be the challenge of decarbonisation and the role of heat pumps.
