Il Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco DOC è l'ente riconosciuto dal Ministero delle Politiche Agricole a svolgere attività di promozione, valorizzazione e tutela a favore della Denominazione di Origine Controllata Prosecco. È stato costituito il 19 novembre 2009, pochi mesi dopo il riconoscimento della Denominazione di Origine Controllata Prosecco, avvenuto il 17 luglio del 2009. Il Consorzio associa in modo volontario le diverse categorie di produttori - i viticoltori, i vinificatori e le case spumantistiche - ed ha come obiettivi il miglioramento e lo sviluppo della Denominazione, la realizzazione di azioni promozionali e di valorizzazione, la salvaguardia e tutela della denominazione in Italia e all'estero e il rispetto delle regole previste dal Disciplinare di produzione (https://www.prosecco.wine/it/disciplinare). Il Consorzio non svolge attività commerciale. Prosecco DOC è un’eccellenza italiana, espressione di un territorio ben definito, che si estende tra Veneto e Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ricco di tradizione e con un clima favorevole che regala all’uva Glera grande eleganza, equilibrio e un fascino contemporaneo. Il Consorzio di Tutela protegge e promuove l’unicità di questo vino, bandiera nel mondo dello stile di vita italiano. Questi i numeri dello spumante più prodotto e più esporto al mondo: 24.450 ettari di vigneto, 11.460 aziende viticole, 1.192 aziende vinificatrici, 347 case spumantistiche e una produzione annuale di 500 milioni di bottiglie. 🇪🇺 Campaign financed according to UE Regulation no. 1308/2013
