Yesterday, we had the honour of co-hosting an exclusive luncheon with the Icelandic Embassy in Oslo 🇮🇸🇳🇴, bringing together a powerful group of leaders to discuss the evolving landscape of workplace inclusion. With the term DEI facing increased scrutiny, conversations like this remind us why the work matters more than ever. At Alda, we’re proud to support organisations with data-driven tools to build inclusive cultures that last. A heartfelt thank you to Ambassador Högni Kristjánsson, the team at the embassy, and all the incredible leaders who joined us for this timely and inspiring exchange. 🌍✨ Special thanks to our amazing customer Martin F. What an incredible gathering today at the Icelandic Embassy in Oslo! 🇮🇸🇳🇴 Bringing together a group of brilliant minds, leaders in HR, DEI, and business, we explored the evolving landscape of workplace inclusion, the role of data in driving real change, and the opportunities that come with shifting conversations around DEI. 🔑 Key Takeaway: ⭐️The term DEI may be facing increased scrutiny, but the fundamentals of inclusion, equity, and diverse leadership remain essential. ⭐️Resistance fuels progress, moments of backlash have historically led to more structured, data-driven advancements. ⭐️ Companies that stay committed to inclusion will be the ones shaping the future of workplace culture. As the conversation moves forward, we must focus on measuring impact, making inclusion a core business strategy, and ensuring that every employee has the opportunity to thrive. A huge thank you to Ambassador Högni Kristjánsson and the Icelandic Embassy in Norway for co-hosting this meaningful event with us, and to all the incredible leaders who contributed to such an engaging and inspiring discussion. 🇳🇴🇮🇸 And a special thank you to Martin F. Devor from Aker Solutions, an Alda customer, for sharing valuable insights into how they are using Alda to drive real impact in their inclusion journey. It was inspiring to hear how data and gamified learning are helping Aker Solutions take measurable steps toward fostering a more inclusive workplace. “Your hair isn’t professional.” 🌍 Professionalism bias shows up in the smallest comments and creates the biggest barriers, especially for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. At Alda, we’re helping teams unlearn these biases and build truly inclusive workplaces. ✨ Let’s redefine what professionalism really means.
