Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer in the cloud security team, you will contribute to development efforts as we build the platform to ensure the security of the oracle cloud. You will be a core contributor on a team of software engineers working to grow and scale our service.

The Cloud Security team will be responsible for building the services where our customers software assets in the Oracle cloud is continously monitored and protected through proactive alerts and detections. The challenges here are across the entire stock, from back-end distributed services operating at cloud scale to the agent that monitors the IT assets. This is the perfect role for someone experienced in writing code across an entire stack, especially in a start-up style environment.

Responsibilities

As a member of the team, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
