Who is responsible for wellbeing in your organization? Without clear ownership, wellbeing can be dismissed as fluff or relegated to a tick-box exercise. But a well executed wellbeing strategy can be essential for driving performance. That’s the message Bex Moorhouse will bring to our next Insights Series virtual event on April 16. Bex is the founder and director of Invigorate Spaces a London-based corporate wellness consultancy. Register: https://mlkn.co/6045q2VIW

Sustainable design starts at the chemical level. And at MillerKnoll, we’re committed to using safe chemistry across our portfolio and eliminating added PFAS from most North American products by May 2025. “For us, it’s having a detailed understanding of the chemicals that we use to make our products, proactively screening those chemicals, then identifying any substance that is problematic,” says Gabe Wing, Vice President of Sustainability at MillerKnoll. Learn about our history of setting standards for safe chemistry, including our goal to eliminate PFAS from most product lines. https://mlkn.co/6047qIniB

In 1995, we introduced honey bees on the grounds of our GreenHouse facility as a natural way to rid the area of paper wasps. This time of year, as the bees emerge from winter, they're busy pollinating wildflowers and producing honey—a sweet reminder of our commitment to the planet. The furniture industry has a long, uncomfortable history with polyurethane foam. Using it adds to the comfort of chairs and sofas, but because it's petroleum-based, it also adds to their carbon footprint. At MillerKnoll, we’re exploring bio-based alternatives to fossil-based raw material. In 2024, HAY began using bio-based foams on Uchiwa and About A Lounge product lines in Europe. By replacing the chairs’ traditional foam padding with an alternative sourced from biomass, HAY reduced the carbon footprint of these products by more than 70% compared to traditional foams. Learn more about how we’re working with sustainably harvested, ethically sourced natural materials in the Better World Report. https://mlkn.co/6040q9zyw
