Objectives of this role:
As a Business Development Executive at Mavlers, you will be responsible for engaging with inbound leads, understanding client requirements, and converting them into long-term customers. Your role involves managing a fast-moving sales cycle, ensuring a high conversion rate from Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to customers while adhering to defined SLAs. You will work with potential clients across various digital services, including Email Development, Email Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, and Web Development, ensuring they receive the right solutions tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Engagement & Qualification
- Engage with inbound leads received through forms, emails, and other channels.
- Conduct an initial requirement analysis to understand client needs, from high-level inquiries to detailed project specifications.
- Collaborate with the outreach team for outbound leads (up to 10% of total leads).
- Client Communication & Sales Conversion
- Connect with potential clients via email, phone, video calls, or their preferred medium.
- Present suitable solutions aligned with Mavlers’ service offerings.
- Address client concerns and objections effectively to drive faster conversions.
- Adhere to defined SLAs for response time and follow-ups.
- Sales Process & Deal Closure
- Drive conversion of SQLs to customers, ensuring alignment with conversion rate targets.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for project-based, retainer, or dedicated team engagements.
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure seamless handover and long-term client success.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track and report lead status, sales pipeline, and conversion metrics.
- Achieve revenue targets and conversion percentage KPIs for assigned SQLs and service verticals.
- Continuously optimize the sales approach to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Technical & Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of sales and business development, specifically in digital marketing, web development, and performance marketing services.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot or equivalent) for tracking leads and conversions.
- Soft Skills
- Communication & Persuasion: Ability to engage with clients and articulate solutions effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple leads while adhering to SLAs.
- Negotiation & Problem-Solving: Address client concerns and close deals efficiently.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle short-term and long-term sales cycles based on project or retainer models.
- Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a relevant field (experience in digital marketing or IT services is a plus).
- Sales Revenue Generated – Total revenue from closed deals.
- Conversion % – SQL to customer conversion rate based on service type.
- Lead Response Time – Adherence to SLAs for first response and follow-ups.
- Ability to work in a US time zone.
