Indofast Energy and Green Tiger Mobility Pvt. Ltd. announced a partnership on Friday to help India shift to electric mobility. Their goal is to offer an affordable, eco-friendly retrofit solution for over 300 million petrol two-wheelers in India. This will allow riders to convert their existing scooters to electric using Green Tiger Mobility’s ARAI-approved conversion kits. After the conversion, riders can use Indofast Energy’s battery-swapping network, removing concerns about limited range and long charging times. The ENFORCEMENT DIRECTORATE (ED) detained BluSmart co-founder Puneet Jaggi from a Delhi hotel on Thursday, after conducting raids related to Gensol Engineering Ltd, according to PTI. The raids were carried out at company offices in Delhi, Gurugram, and Ahmedabad under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Both Puneet and his brother Anmol Jaggi were already being investigated by the ED after SEBI found that Gensol Engineering took loans from Power Finance Corporation and IREDA to buy electric vehicles and work on projects. But instead of using the funds as planned, the company allegedly used it to buy assets in the names of the promoters, their relatives, or shell companies. PB Fintech, the parent company of Policybazaar.com, is moving forward with its healthcare plans. It announced that its new unit, PB Healthcare Services Pvt Ltd, will raise Rs 1,461.60 Cr ($166.01 Mn) in the first part of its seed funding round. This is a 76% jump from the Rs 829 Cr investment announced in March. Out of the Rs 696 Cr ($81.60 Mn) approved by shareholders, PB Fintech has already invested Rs 539.40 Cr ($63.24 Mn). The rest will be raised by issuing or selling shares or other securities before FY26. Blue Ocean Games, a new early‑stage venture firm backed by KRAFTON Inc., has launched a $30 million fund to help indie game developers worldwide, starting with India’s growing talent. Based in Toronto and founded by Damian Lee (formerly Head of Investments at KRAFTON), the fund plans to support up to 100 developers over three years. It offers money and hands‑on help at the idea stage, focusing on India’s booming game scene. They’ll use a special deal called SAIL (Structured Agreement for Indie Launch), which combines early funding, milestone‑based payouts, and a mix of equity and revenue sharing. Individual developers can get up to $100,000 each, or teams up to $300,000 over two years, while keeping full ownership of their games.
