We are delighted to share that Cradlewise, a SINE-supported startup under DST's NIDHI-PRAYAS program, has caught the attention of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman! Altman, who's using the product for his newborn, has expressed appreciation for Cradlewise's innovative smart crib. From humble beginnings in 2017, when SINE supported the startup at the initial prototype stage under NIDHI-PRAYAS, Cradlewise has come a long way. Today, the US-based startup is revolutionizing infant care with its AI-powered smart crib, designed to detect signs of wakefulness and soothe babies back to sleep using gentle motion and sound. Co-founders Radhika Patil and Bharath Patil's passion for innovation has paid off, bringing their vision of improving infant sleep to life. Looking forward to seeing their continued success! Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship -SINE IIT Bombay, was thrilled to host the exciting event "From Idea to IPO: How AI, Open Source, and Community Shape Startup Journeys" in collaboration with GitHub! 🤝 The event began with by a Panel Discussion: Investing in AI – Opportunities, Challenges & the Road Ahead for Startups , moderated by Aparna Anand (VP, Partnerships and Outreach, SINE IITB), featuring Naveli Jain (VP Investments, Ankur Capital) and Sumangal V. (AI & Infra Investor, Blume Ventures) They offered valuable perspectives on the evolving AI investment landscape in India 🌟.
