🔭 Quantum Day 2025 – A reminder that the future is already here. Today (April 14th), as we celebrate Quantum Day, it’s not just about the promise of a new frontier in physics. It’s a wake-up call—especially for the digital payment ecosystem. 2025 is being called the Quantum Year for good reason. The pace of progress in quantum computing is accelerating dramatically. And with it comes both immense opportunity and unprecedented risk. In my article "Quantum Computing is Closer Than You Think – A Wake-Up Call for the Digital Payments Industry", I wrote about how Q-Day, the moment a quantum computer breaks traditional encryption, is no longer a far-fetched concept. When it happens, everything from payment data to national critical infrastructure will be at stake.
