Exploring the Future of Work at the GCC Leadership Circle – Chennai Edition Co-hosted by People Matters & LinkedIn | 8th April | ITC Grand Chola We had the privilege of bringing together 30+ senior leaders—including CHROs, GCC Site Heads, and IT Directors—for an insightful evening of dialogue and collaboration. Key themes that emerged from the conversation: 🔹 AI is reshaping skill priorities – with growing emphasis on AI/ML, data governance, and ethical frameworks. 🔹 HR is evolving from transactional to strategic – automation is enabling greater focus on culture, capability building, and employee experience. 🔹 India is emerging as a global leadership hub – with leadership hiring here growing at nearly double the global average. 🔹 Chennai is strengthening its position as a GCC destination – driven by a thriving SaaS ecosystem and a mature talent landscape. 🔹 Scaling without expanding headcount – agile models and cross-functional leadership are proving critical. 🔹 Automation in talent acquisition must be humanised – candidate experience surveys are playing a key role in course correction. 🔹 Career development is a key differentiator – platforms like LinkedIn Learning Hub are enabling personalised, scalable upskilling. A special thank you to our moderators Santosh D’souza and Guna Grace from LinkedIn India, and to Ravi Nalwaya, Vice President & Head – Ashley Global Capability Center, for a compelling keynote that set the tone for the evening. To add a moment of creativity, every attendee participated in a Ghibli-inspired doodle activity—capturing their unique leadership journey—and took home a personalised framed memento from the session. We are grateful for the active participation and thoughtful insights shared, and look forward to continuing this meaningful dialogue in future editions of the Leadership Circle. #LeadershipCircle #PeopleMatters #LinkedInIndia #FutureOfWork #LeadershipDialogue #GCCLeadership #ChennaiGCC
