Glimpses of empowerment, essence of camaraderie and a united spirit for progress - that's what International Women’s Day celebrations looked like across Cummins India’s facilities! At India Office Campus, Pune, the Women Empowerment Network, Employee Resource Group, set out to go beyond the usual celebrations and created lasting impact by combining entertainment with powerful messaging around #AccelerateAction and gender equity. Shveta Arya, our India Region Leader, and lira goswami, Cummins India Ltd. Board Member, inspired the audience with insights and practical actions to drive meaningful change. Our units in Pithampur, Dewas and Ranjangaon recognized the exceptional contributions of women under the theme, ‘Accelerate Action’. In Jamshedpur, the IWD celebrations provided a platform for rural women entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses. Moving ahead, Coffee with Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Ashish Aggarwal, - International Women’s Day Special was a warm and encouraging session where women shared their personal experiences and challenges; whereas India Technical Organization’s event and Engine Business Unit’s Women Connect brought women together to network, share stories and gain valuable leadership insights. Across locations, employees shared inspiring stories through the #EmpowerWithWords campaign and performed thought-provoking skits challenging biases against working women under #EmpowerWithAction. These initiatives, rolled out companywide, were widely appreciated and sparked important conversations.
