About us
Started from the bottom, now we are here. From a bunch of college goers interested in the field of Consulting to a full-fledged group of over 50 members focused on broadening their horizons and opportunities, the club sure has come a long way. Seven years ago, the typical response to a mention of Consulting Club on campus would be met by quizzical stares and awkward expressions, while people would try to figure out if they heard it wrong or whether placement company. Over the past few years, the Club has undergone a dramatic transformation into a disciplined team effort to learn all that there is to learn about Consulting and crack some of the most challenging interviews to some of the world’s most prominent consulting firms. From various events in each fest to regular study sessions, the Club aims to popularize the industry, in the Engineering institute. It follows a strict schedule which is adhered to by all club members, right from the president of the club to the recruits. Interactive activities like solving Case Studies and Guesstimates are focused on, to gain experience and expertise in the same. Various current scenarios and new themes are discussed and debated during the sessions. There are also video conferences with Club Alumni, as well as ex BITSians, placed worldwide in major Consulting Firms, for the members to Learn from. Over the years, club members have cracked top consults including Mckinsey, BCG, Bain & Co., etc. and have taken up challenging roles in related sectors like analytics, business development, and start-ups right after college. From a Club struggling to find roots in the system, to a well-oiled machine, BITS Pilani Consulting Club sure has come a long way. There is still a long way to go, and we’re determined. As one of our ex-Presidents used to say, we have one aim – Tear it up like Batman!
