It's the last day of Feeding Tube Awareness Week & I wanted to give a huge shout out to Rockfield Medical Devices ! As a patient advocate, caregiver, and my most important job- a mom! I LOVE products & innovations that enhance quality of life! As many of you know, Damian lives with a complex chronic medical condition. He is on TPN daily since birth through his central line & he has a feeding tube for various reasons. He also eats a little orally & drinks orally. He requires various methods of getting his nutrition! So I've been following this product for a while and I was always fascinated by it ! It's a product that I knew could increase Damian's independence & help him get the nutrition he needs without negatively impacting his lifestyle. Damian has been trialing it now for a couple months & it has definitely increased his quality of life & made him feel more confident to feed on the go! He even wore it during his MAW photoshoot! As an 8 year old boy - it takes a lot to impress him & he loves that it's light weight and discrete! Happy Feeding Tube Awareness Week🫶
