Concrete is brittle and prone to cracking under stress. The three main types of cracks in beams are: 🟢 Tensile Cracks (Bending): Vertical cracks on the bottom surface due to excessive tensile stress from bending. 🟢 Diagonal Shear Cracks: Diagonal cracks near supports caused by high shear stress. 🟢 Compressive Cracks: Horizontal cracks on the top surface due to excessive compressive stress. #mehrtashsoltani
