As part of his diverse activities, Mark actively participates in the Workability sessions every week, where he assists with presentations. He's also excited to attend the launch of The Green Team initiative, which focuses on reducing energy waste by turning off lights. Mark's journey is a testament to the power of technology and determination. He navigates his world using an electric wheelchair and stays connected with friends and family through his tablet, using social media and phone calls. With a simple button on his desk, he independently controls his bedroom door, allowing him to move freely in and out of his room. One of the most remarkable aspects of Mark's life is his use of an eye tracker (iTobi) mounted on his wheelchair. Speakers: ✨  Professor Leonard O'Sullivan  Leonard O’Sullivan is Full Professor in the School of Architecture and Product Design at the University of Limerick. He is Director of the Rapid Innovation Unit (RIU - www.riu.ie). RIU is a unit specifically focused on the application of 3D printing in healthcare to solve clinical challenges for which there are no current or adequate solutions available. The unit works across hospitals in the University Hospital Limerick Group and in the community collaborating with clinical stakeholders. Challenges solved by the group ranges from immediately solved solutions to the development of programmes of research for specific clinical needs.
