Daffodil Day Magic 🌼 This day last week, we witnessed something truly special. Communities came together — from Men's Sheds to Grow Remote groups to neighbours and friends — all united for one purpose: to support the Irish Cancer Society. 💛 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our volunteers and supporters, we raised an amazing €9,139.49 in Kinsale! This support means more than words can say. In 2024 alone, donations helped fund: ✨ 16,042 counselling sessions ✨ 6,057 nights of nursing care ✨ 26,509 free drives for 2,535 patients to attend appointments With the Irish Cancer Society needing to raise €30 million this year to meet rising demands, every cent truly counts. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and heart. Together, we’re making a difference. 💪🌼 As a remote worker, I have more time for myself and my community — and I think it’s important to give some of that time back. Plus, I have now connected to a whole new demographic in Kinsale which creates an even stronger sense of belonging. If you are interested in giving some of that time back as a remote employee reach out to me or check out your local volunteer centre which is part of Volunteer Ireland. Let’s keep showing up for each other. 💛 #DaffodilDay #IrishCancerSociety #CommunitySpirit #GrowRemote #TogetherWeCan #Kinsale #cork

A very big thank you to everyone who attended our Grow Remote coffee morning on Friday and also to those who contributed later on. We managed to raise €190 for Irish Cancer Society and catch up with friends 👏🏻👏🏻 Thanks to Noeleen Mc Taggart for bringing the merchandise to us and for arranging all the collections locally here in Longford. Such a worthy cause it was great to be part of it and hear the brave journeys that people have been on.🌼
