Superbowl, inspiring the next generation of female leaders, breaking fast, transforming rugby for visually impaired fans and launching the investment case to save 23 million lives… these last few weeks have been some of the most varied, exciting and inspiring we have ever had! Guinness Never Settle in Dublin As part of Guinness’ Never Settle initiative, we teamed up with Field Of Vision to transform the match day experience for visually impaired rugby fans at this year’s Six Nations. Using an innovative device that converts live rugby action into instant tactile feedback, fans could feel every tackle, try and kick in real time, as well as pinpoint exactly where play was happening on the pitch. Inclusive and immersive - fan experience at its finest. The Global Fund Campaign Launch, Johannesburg, SA We reunited with the world’s largest funder of HIV, TB and Malaria prevention, to produce the launch of their Eighth Replenishment Investment Case - coinciding with the first-ever G20 in Africa. The goal? To save 23 million more lives, slash mortality rates by a further 64%, and prevent 400 million infections by 2029. The Future is Bright, I Wish, Dublin 4,000 teenage girls and 36 partners attended I Wish a future focused initiative committed to highlighting the power of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. “I Wish proves that with opportunity, role models and determination, there are no limits to what girls can achieve - breaking barriers, shattering stereotypes, and building a brighter, more inclusive future for all.’” An Taoiseach. Super Initiative at the Superbowl, New Orleans We worked with Diageo USA to showcase their initiative ‘Take a Minute, Make a Plan’. Alongside partners The NFL, UBER and MADD, it brought together cultural influence, advocacy leadership, and transportation solutions to help save lives. Devising, designing and producing an activation that featured at the biggest sporting event in the USA was one for the books! Breaking Fast, Breaking Barriers at the UN in New York We created a modern twist for the traditional Iftar dinner for the UAE mission to the United Nations, as part of the overall program for the world's largest annual gathering on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment - the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). Guests savoured a stunning four-course modern Emirati menu prepared by 23-year-old rising star chef Maitha after the traditional breaking of the fast. Phew! Each project was as inspiring as it was impactful. After an unforgettable run, we’re ready for our next series of exciting experiences - stay tuned! #WeMakeBrandsHuman #ThisIsCatapult #globalexperienceagency #globalimpact #diageo #theglobalfund #unitednations #iwish #superbowl2025

At Catapult, our mission is simple: We Make Brands Human —and there’s no better example than our latest work for Diageo Ireland and the Guinness 6 Nations. Live sport isn’t just about what happens on the pitch—it’s the roar of the crowd, the energy, the shared emotion. But for visually impaired fans, match-day experiences often come with barriers, a reliance on audio commentary or asking a friend for updates, all resulting in exclusion from being in the same shared moment as other fans. So we set out to change that. We uncovered Field Of Vision, an Irish start-up pushing the boundaries of assistive sports technology and saw the opportunity to meaningfully change how visually impaired fans could experience the live game. As part of Guinness’ Never Settle initiative, we partnered with Field Of Vision to give visually impaired rugby fans a new match day experience at this year's championship, starting at the Ireland v England game. The innovative device transforms the game, converting live rugby action into instant tactile feedback, allowing visually impaired fans to feel every tackle, try, and kick instantly, as well as knowing precisely where play is happening on the pitch. More than technology, this initiative creates connection, immersing fans together in the action, energy and emotion in real-time, proving that rugby can belong to everyone. Huge thanks to our amazing clients and the Guinness Team who recognised the potential of the idea immediately and made it happen, Marketing Director at Guinness Ireland Alan McAleenan, Brand Manager at Diageo Ireland Liam El Sibai and Planning Manager at Diageo Ireland Jamie Fulham. Our wonderful Rugby fan Martin Gordon who shared his story with such openness. The amazing team at Field Of Vision Omar Salem, David Deneher and Tim Farrelly. We worked closely with Voice of Vision Impairment and other representative bodies to ensure the insights driving this project were built on human truths. The support of the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and Six Nations Rugby was also instrumental. “It took the world 18 years to halve the combined death toll from AIDS, TB and malaria; with the right resources we can more than halve it again in only six years.” Peter Sands, Executive Director of the Global Fund. This week South Africa hosts the first G20 Summit on the African Continent. In this increasingly chaotic geopolitical time, it was a privilege for This Is Catapult to produce the launch of the Global Fund’s Eighth Replenishment investment case here in Johannesburg with the The Global Fund team and see partnership in action. The Global Fund partnership has made remarkable progress in the fight against HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria over the last two decades – saving 65 million lives and reducing the combined death rate from AIDS, TB and malaria by 63% since 2002 – through multilateral collaboration and partnerships with civil society, governments, private sector, philanthropists, technical providers and communities. “Co-hosting the Global Fund’s Replenishment resonates well with South Africa’s leadership of the G20 this year, because strong investment in health is one of the best ways to foster solidarity, equality and sustainable development.” Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa. Over the past decades, in collaboration with the Global Fund partnership, we have made remarkable strides in decreasing HIV infections by 75% and tuberculosis incidence by over 66%,” said South Africa's Minister of Health Aaron Motsoaledi. The Global Fund’s Eighth Replenishment Investment Case released yesterday, aims at saving 23 million more lives between 2027 and 2029, reduce the combined mortality rate by another 64%, relative to 2023 levels, and prevent around 400 million infections #g20 #g20southafrica #globalimpact #experiencedesign #wemakebrandshuman #thisiscatapult

Shots, Football, Politics and Choirs… best way to kick off the year! January had the This Is Catapult team in Miami, Munich, London, Sheffield, Dublin, Birmingham and Atlanta. Working with local vendors in each city, deepening our experience, learning from our clients and their industries, the projects themselves are as varied as they were exciting, many of which are ongoing. Here’s a sample: 🧊 Ice Cold in Atlanta: We were in Georgia in mid-January, bringing together the entire Mast-Jägermeister US, Inc. and Teremana Tequila US teams. With a look ahead to exciting developments and innovations in the drinks industry, and an in-depth understanding of changes in consumer behaviour, were joined by two of the Findel-Mast family, who are the owners of Jägermeister since it was invented in 1934. 👀 All Eyes on Munich: We're currently building an unforgettable Champions League Experience in partnership with UEFA, as well as a number of key sponsor activations, as part of the Champions League Final celebrations at the Allianz Arena in Munich, which attracts an audience of over 400 million fans! 🇿🇦 Our First G20: We are back working with the The Global Fund - a worldwide partnership to defeat HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria to ensure a healthier, safer and more equitable future for all. Coinciding with the first ever G20 held on the African continent, the event will bring together multi-stakeholder partners and Heads of State in Johannesburg on February 18th. 🎤 World Record: Young Voices UK performing in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield, is the largest children’s choir concerts series in the world. YV returned to The O2 London in January and will celebrate its one millionth visitor and 60th show at The O2, which is more shows than Adele, Ed Sheeran and Take That combined. Produced with our partners Double D Live, it is the most inspirational way to start every year! #globalexperienceagency #thisiscatapult #makingbrandshuman
