#𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬  One of Axiseng's current exciting live projects within the Life Science’s sector is the complete Mechanical and Electrical Services design for a series of ISO 7 cleanrooms and supporting spaces/accommodation for our trusted confidential medical devices client in Dublin. Once operational, the facility will run 24/7 to meet production demands, with only one week of downtime allowed per year. Axiseng was tasked with designing the fit-out for the project, which included Assembly Cleanrooms, personnel and material airlock rooms, production corridors, changing/gowning areas, as well as ancillary office and storage spaces. The fit-out design was developed using the most advanced plant technologies, including high-efficiency inverter screw chillers, a minimal external air supply volume in the Air Handling Plant, and Fan Filter units within the cleanroom. This approach optimizes energy use while ensuring the required particle count standards are met within the facility. The office area will be fully air conditioned by means of a high efficiency VRF system. Additional external works include, the provision of EV car charging spaces, new ESB substation and associated meter switch room, secure plant compound. The design also makes provision of plant capacity for future expansion in alignment with our client’s growth targets. Additionally, a comprehensive EMS/BMS will be implemented to give the technical team complete control over the environment, energy consumption, and overall system manageability. Through close collaboration with our client, both from a design and plant maintenance/accessibility standpoint, we were thrilled to demonstrate our flexibility and technical expertise in creating a customised solution!! #ProjectProfile Axiseng are proud to have been commissioned to lead the mechanical and electrical services design for the fit-out of the new 2,500m² National Lottery Head Office. This included both the ground and first floors, with a subletting split design on the first floor, and ran over a 10-month period. As this building was formally Ulster Banks Head office, our client’s request was to explore the possibility of reusing existing M&E services plant where feasible. This required detailed site investigations and an innovative approach to ventilation, heating/cooling strategies, and general lighting design. #ProjectProfile Axiseng was commissioned to lead the mechanical and electrical services design of The Highmark Building, a recently completed refurbishment which consists of 4,300m2 of Grade A office space, including high end reception area, new façade & full mechanical and electrical plant upgrade. The mechanical systems include a high-efficiency domestic hot water heat pump, VRV air conditioning, and centralized air handling units with thermal recovery wheels. All lighting was completely upgraded to DALI-addressable, daylight-dimming LED fixtures. The building achieved a LEED Gold Rating, with all systems equipped with energy meters linked to a high-spec centralized building management system (BMS). #ProjectProfile Axiseng was proud to lead the mechanical and electrical services design for the new headquarters for the National Transport Authority (NTA). With a tight timeline, the project was delivered in a phased approach to allow partial occupation while work continued. Particular attention was given to the high-level electrical services that required very detailed co-ordination due to the NTA’s high specification for IT, AV and security, over and above the typical office fitout, due to the nature of their work. Completed in September 2024, the 6,880m² development on Smithfield Square, Dublin 7, now serves as the new headquarters for the National Transport Authority, bringing together teams previously spread across multiple offices in Dublin 2. 👏 A fantastic achievement for all involved!
