One standout moment for the Atlantia team was Dr. Nontokozo's talk on the importance of broad representation in women’s health microbiome studies. She highlighted the need to address both ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in recruitment to reflect the full diversity of the female microbiome, a key consideration for future research. The team also reflected on how the event featured many discussions around vaginal microbiome research, especially how it’s being shaped by emerging technologies and approaches. Roundtable sessions added another layer of value, offering thoughtful exchanges on bridging critical research gaps in women’s health microbiome science, and navigating the evolving regulatory landscape for biomarkers and diagnostics. Last week, Darren Keane, Sales Executive at Atlantia Clinical Trials, attended the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research (CABR) event Cosmetic Innovation – From Idea to Impact, at the Rose Hotel in Tralee.   It was a great opportunity to hear from industry experts on formulation, manufacturing, and the growing focus on sustainability in cosmetics.
