Darren Keane, Sales Executive, and Dr. Nontokozo Felicity Yusuff, Medical Study Manager at Atlantia, were delighted to be part of the Microbes in Women’s Health event last week in Amsterdam. One standout moment for the Atlantia team was Dr. Nontokozo's talk on the importance of broad representation in women’s health microbiome studies. She highlighted the need to address both ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in recruitment to reflect the full diversity of the female microbiome, a key consideration for future research. The team also reflected on how the event featured many discussions around vaginal microbiome research, especially how it’s being shaped by emerging technologies and approaches. Roundtable sessions added another layer of value, offering thoughtful exchanges on bridging critical research gaps in women’s health microbiome science, and navigating the evolving regulatory landscape for biomarkers and diagnostics. Thanks to everyone who came by the stand, and to the speakers and organisers for arranging a productive and engaging few days. If you're looking for a reliable and experienced partner for your next women’s health clinical research project, get in touch with the Atlantia team today at sales@atlantiatrials.com. #WomensHealth #MicrobiomeResearch #ClinicalTrials #AtlantiaClinicalTrials #MicrobesInWomensHealth2025

Today, on World Health Day, we reflect on this year’s theme: “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” While associated with early life, this theme speaks more broadly to the importance of setting strong foundations for lifelong health - for all populations, across all stages of life. Clinical research is central to building those foundations. From improved diagnostics and treatment protocols to better prevention strategies, health research supports better outcomes not just today, but well into the future. Why clinical research matters for generations to come: ✅ Reduces preventable illness and mortality through continuous medical progress ✅ Informs policy and practice with real-world data ✅ Improves treatment safety and effectiveness across demographics ✅ Builds resilient health systems grounded in evidence At Atlantia Clinical Trials, we’re committed to research that informs better care, now and in the years ahead, ensuring each step forward is backed by solid science. #WorldHealthDay #ClinicalResearch #GlobalHealth #HealthEquity #PublicHealth #AtlantiaClinicalTrials
