We are pleased to once again support the Dublin Calcutta Run 2025, organised by Law Society of Ireland. Since 1999, the Calcutta Run has made an extraordinary impact supporting homelessness services in both Ireland and Calcutta, and the Dublin run is the cornerstone event of Calcutta Run each year since it started in 1999. It consists of a 6km and 10km run/walk, beginning and ending at Blackhall Place, with its main route proceeding through the Phoenix Park and surrounding areas. In 2024, over 1,000 people took part, with 200 volunteers. This year its charity partners include the Dublin Simon Community and The Hope Foundation. Arthur Cox Listings is pleased to announce the first EuGB Bond compliant prospectus approved by the Central Bank of Ireland: Norsk Hydro ASA.   Since 2023, the EUGB Regulation has provided a uniform set of specific requirements for bonds issued by financial and non-financial undertakings and sovereigns that wish to use the designation 'European Green Bond' or 'EuGB' for such bonds.    This week, Arthur Cox Listings acted as Irish Listing Agent on the successful approval by the Central Bank of Ireland of Hydro‘s base prospectus relating to its €5,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme on the Regulated Market in Ireland. While certain provisions contained in the Employment (Contractual Retirement Ages) Bill 2025 have changed from the General Scheme of the Employment (Restriction of Certain Mandatory Retirement Ages) Bill 2024 published last year, it still adopts a consent based approach to this issue. Significantly, the Bill introduces a new offence in respect of which both bodies corporate and individuals can be prosecuted.
