Prototiles® , made from repurposed abandoned fishing nets (ghost nets). Parongpong RAW Lab aims to address marine plastic debris by recycling ghost nets, benefiting the environment and providing extra income for local fishermen. In 2025, Parongpong RAW Lab plans to expand collaborations with global companies, especially from Japan, and other South East Asian countries, to scale circular waste management solutions across industries and communities, driving a stronger impact in waste-to-material innovation. NINJA Accelerator Program 2024 Cohorts at THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, JAPAN The second day of our NINJA Accelerator Program 2024 trip to Japan marked a highlight for Automa, Kepul and Parongpong RAW Lab. We had a meeting with His Excellency Mr. Heri Akhmadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Japan, at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Tokyo. We have had a good relationship with Bapak Heri, who had been supportive of Parongpong RAW Lab's entry to Japan and progress in entering the Japanese market. On this occasion, Bapak Heri further advised us on how to sucessfully bring Indonesian innovations to Japan and create a market for our products and services. We gained valuable insights to Indonesia-Japan relations which would aid us in our journey. We sincerely thank ANGIN and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Indonesia for making this meeting come true. NINJA ACCELERATOR PROGRAM 2024 COHORTS at the INDONESIA INVESTMENT PROMOTION CENTER TOKYO We kicked off our business trip in Japan with a meeting at the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry / Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) in Chiyoda, Tokyo. There, cohorts Automa, Kepul abd Parongpong RAW Lab accompanied by Ignatia Endra Kristianti, Christ Panogari Simanjuntak of the the ANGIN team and Hiramatsu Yoji-san from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Indonesia met with Bapak Mohammad Riffana, Director of IIPC Tokyo and Reiko Fujishima-san, Promotion Officer at IIPC Tokyo. The meeting was an eventful one, as Pak Riffana shared his knowledge and experience promoting Indonesian businesses to investors and collaboration partners in Japan. Each cohort was given the chance to discuss their upcoming business plans in Japan, with Pak Riffana giving advice on how to address their needs and deal with unique challenges as Indonesian businesses in Japan. We were off to a great start in Tokyo! We can't thank ANGIN and JICA Indonesia enough for this moment. Hosted by ANGIN and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) It was an honor for Kepul, to receive the Award of Excellence from Mr. Nozomu Ono, Senior Representative at JICA Indonesia. Each team then took the stage, presenting our business models, impact, and fundraising goals to an engaged audience. The event continued with an insightful networking session, where we connected with potential investors and collaborators, exchanging ideas and exploring future partnerships. NINJA ACCELERATOR PROGRAM 2024 COHORTS AT DEMO DAY JAKARTA February 14 was an exciting day for NINJA Cohorts Parongpong RAW Lab, Automa Kepul as we pitched in front of Indonesian, Japanese and multinational investors at the Demo Day Jakarta by ANGIN and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Indonesia at The Hub Sinar Mas Land, Jakarta. Parongpong RAW Lab, Kepul and Automa were each called on the stage to receive their Award of Excellence certificate by Mr. Nozomu Ono, Senior Represntative at JICA Indonesia. Then, for twelve minutes, cohorts presented their innovations business models and fundraising goals in front of a captive audience. The day continued with a fruitful networking session where we discussed future opportunities with prospectuve investors and collaborators. Visitors were also excited to learn more about our materials at the Parongpong RAW Lab booth where our Pamongpong enthusiastically answered their questions. Learning from our experiences at Demo Day Jakarta, we were prepared to face Demo Day Japan in Tokyo.
