𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 For the S3 to S5 students, today must be a relaxing day out from their busy school lives! This afternoon, the HKFI partnered with The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong(BGCA) and our Member, Zurich Insurance, to welcome over 20 secondary students for an eye-opening visit. It was inspiring to watch the students dive into the world of insurance and discover how the teams in Claims, Sustainability, and Marketing departments are supporting lives and businesses every day! Mr Eric Hui, the Chairman of our General Insurance Council and also the CEO of Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, together with his incredible teams revealed how an insurance company builds a brighter future for everyone. These students are about to select their field of study and plan their careers. At such a pivotal moment, we were happy to help ignite their passion and imagination! 🌟 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀! 🌟𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗣𝗜𝗠-𝗖𝗣𝗗 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀!   On April 15, 2025, we hosted the inaugural KPIM-CPD seminar, aimed at enhancing knowledge about the Intermediary Management Function of authorized insurers under the IA’s regulatory framework.   With around 100 enthusiastic participants in attendance, the seminar was a resounding success! To promote enhanced cross-boundary services, the 2024 Policy Address announced the extension of facilitation measure for the “Standard Contract for the Cross-boundary Flow of Personal Information Within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Mainland, Hong Kong)” (GBA Standard Contract) to all sectors. This initiative will benefit both the public and businesses by facilitating data flow across the #GBA.   Effective from 1 November 2024, all sectors, including our insurance industry, can participate in the facilitation measure and voluntarily adopt this GBA Standard Contract. In this light, the #HKFI organized a briefing on 31 March 2025, in conjunction with the Insurance Authority, with the support from the Digital Policy Office (#DPO) and Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong (PCPD) 香港個人資料私隱專員公署.   Close to 70 participants from 46 companies attended, gaining insights on this facilitation measure and the latest regulatory requirements on cross-border data flow!     #HKFI #GBA #Insurance

In early 2024, CTF Life became one of the signatories of the first-ever 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿, joining hands with local insurers to tackle pressing climate issues and amplify shared responsibility in fostering a sustainable community. 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Pop singers, exciting games, meaningful conversations, practical risk management tips, and a glimpse into rewarding insurance careers — all in one event!   The #HKFI teamed up with the Insurance Authority (#IA) and Metro Broadcast to launch the “Youth Campaign” initiative on 21 and 27 March, engaging students from PolyU CPCE , The Education University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong.   The three sessions were fantastic! Students enthusiastically participated in the fun games while gaining valuable tips into the world of insurance.
