⭐ New #Eurohealth: Advancing the #EUCancerMission through policy dialogues
This latest issue of Eurohealth discusses the work done through the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies’s Dialogues and Comparisons for a Joined-up Approach to Cancer (OBS-D&C4Cancer) in collaboration with the ECHoS | Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies project. Together, these initiatives are advancing cancer policy dialogues across Europe, driving action and aligning national efforts with the EU Cancer Mission and #EUBeatingCancerPlan.

The special issue brings together key perspectives from four leading stakeholders in the European cancer space:
🔹 European Commission (DG RTD) – Introducing the EU Cancer Mission, aiming to improve cancer prevention, treatment, and quality of life for 3 million people by 2030.
🔹 Portuguese Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB - Agência de Investigação Clínica e Inovação Biomédica) – Discussing the establishment of National Cancer Mission Hubs (NCMHs), central to accelerating cancer research and policy implementation.
🔹 European Commission (DG SANTE) – Highlighting Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, a €4 billion initiative that tackles cancer prevention, treatment, and research.
🔹 WHO Regional Office for Europe – Advocating for a health systems approach to cancer control, focusing on early diagnosis and equitable access to care.
